Let me start with the story of why I am a chiropractor.
When I was 5 years old I was hit by a car while riding my bicycle. That accident caused me to lose the use of my legs for 3 months. My parents were informed that I had suffered spinal shock and that my paralysis would not be permanent and my legs would eventually work again. The prognosis was correct but no one understood why I was always getting ill. Have you ever heard of the 24 hour flu? That’s what it was called and I would experience it far too often. Nausea, vomiting and dizziness were some of the symptoms that I experienced.
As a young lad I played hockey and like all kids I aspired to go to the NHL until I was 14 years old when I bent over to check the oil in my Dad’s vehicle. That was the day I experienced the pain of a vertebral subluxation. My low back “let go” and I ended up in bed for 3 days unable to move. Thanks to my parents for having the insight to take me to a chiropractor.
That Doctor told me that I had a problem in my spine that was about 10 years old. Starting to get the picture? He adjusted my spine and it was like a miracle happened. The pain started to dissipate immediately. I was impressed (to say the least) but more importantly I never ever experienced the “24 hour flu” again.
Let me tell you that I know first hand what a vertebral subluxation can do and how it can change your life. No more dreams of the NHL, sickly as a kid with dizziness and nausea and other things that are too numerous to mention. Thankfully from that day forward I have had good health and I give chiropractic all the credit.
It changed my life significantly so that I have devoted my life to helping people experience the freedom that it gave to me. I continue to get a chiropractic adjustment once per week not to stay clear of pain but to maintain my health and keep my freedom.
If I have the opportunity to help you or your loved ones I would be honored.
